What does "provide support for the CUSA championship" mean? Each schools have their own apparel deals so does this just simply mean they're gonna sponsor the CG's or something? I'm kinda confused...am I missing something?

This all seems to be a non-starter for me. So what? How much money are they giving us? Or what perks? Or... what are we paying for?

MU ATO, I’m not dissing you, but can you find out any details?

It's probably for official championship merch, game day and promotional clothing, and the hats for the champion. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Under Armour is my favorite brand but the announcement didn’t give much details. Does it mean they’re sponsoring the C-USA football championship game and basketball tournament?

“The C-USA Championship sponsored by Under Armour” sounds good.

BTW, Under Armour’s partnership with MLB officially begins next season.

For the first few years that I was at UNT, we were an Under Armour school. I hated how freaking expensive everything was. Also, we sucked tremendously during those years. If North Texas makes it to a championship game or two, I do not want to pay UA prices for a dang tshirt.

The Marshall official Nike polos and hoodies ain't cheap either. You will pay $55-$75 for a polo and around $85 for a hoodie.

Under Armour was a sponsor for the AAC title game. I think you're on the right track with your assumptions.

Btw....I purchased UA hover shoes with Bluetooth running tracking. Most comfortable shoes I've had in a while. Why I need Bluetooth shoes....not sure...lol.

I wonder if this is a start of a process to contract for uniforms as a group, sort of like the pro leagues, rather than individually. I wonder if that'd render a better deal for the schools versus going at it on their own.

I wondered that too. Would be interesting if a conference could even do that. I doubt they could but you never know.

Before Russel Athletic stopped making uniforms a few of the HBCU conferences had league wide deals with them. I know the MEAC did for sure (I had a buddy working at Hampton and asked him why everyone in the conference was wearing Russel.)

I’m not sure it’s a great idea to do a league wide deal. The uniform suppliers can be a recruiting tools a way for schools to stand out from one another.
