I think this network is gonna be great.
-- Jac Collinsworth ... there's no doubt who his Daddy is, huh? Kid sounds just like his pops. And I was impressed with how he anchored coverage. Does he have ACC ties? I know his brother Austin went to Notre Dame ... did he also? Kinda curious.
-- Watching the Packer - Durham show this morning, where they featured the reigning national champion coaches from last year's NCAA championships ... I had no idea the ACC did that well.
Field Hockey
Men's Wrestling
Men's Lacrosse
Men's Hoops
Football
I think this covered it ... but I couldn't watch the whole show.
It's pretty much wall-to-wall football today, with a heavy emphasis previewing the Miami - Florida game tomorrow.
I'm psyched.
He went to Notre Dame as well.
He got his media start working with local ND media. He hurt his back in high school and was not recruited to ND as an athlete.
"Prior to joining ESPN, Collinsworth – as a college student – created, produced and hosted a weekly ND Live digital series focused on the Notre Dame football team. For three years, he filed weekly player features for head coach Brian Kelly’s nationally-syndicated television show, Inside Notre Dame Football, and he was featured on Showtime’s A Season with Notre Dame Football, where he interviewed athletes on his weekly podcast. He also covered Notre Dame Pro Day in 2016 and 2017 for NFL Network.
While in South Bend, Collinsworth worked as an assistant sideline producer for NBC broadcasts of Notre Dame football from 2013-16, and he was a sideline reporter for NBC telecasts of the Notre Dame Blue-Gold spring football game in 2016 and 2017. Collinsworth covered the 2016 Summer Games in Rio as NBC Olympics’ first social media correspondent, interviewing athletes as a part of the Olympic Late Night with Ryan Seacrest team. During his last two years of college, Collinsworth also co-hosted a radio show, “The Student Section,” on Sirius XM.
A native of Fort Thomas, Kentucky, near Cincinnati, Collinsworth has worked in front of and behind the camera since he was in eighth grade. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame in May 2017 with a degree in Film, Television and Theatre. He is the son of NBC Sunday Night Football analyst and former NFL player Cris Collinsworth. His brother, Austin, is a former Notre Dame player and team captain, and his sister Ashley was captain of the Harvard University women’s track team."

Good luck to Jac Collinsworth and Jordan Cornette (former ND basketball player and announcer), among others. I hope the Network does well.
I'll tune in for some actual games. The other programming, though....I am not into studio shows, talk shows, retrospectives, classic games and the like.
I tried to watch it last night, but lasted about only ten minutes.
I know the ACC doesn't care if I tune it, they got me as a subscriber.
