Not to mention our historic descent into a laughing stock on the world stage.

1. If Obama didn't destroy this country in 8 years with his silly laws and policies Trump won't. Just because Maher and other liberal talking heads don't like it doesn't mean their wrong.. Just because Hannity and other conservative talking heads like doesn't mean it's right. But to think a country can be destroyed in 8 years is silly.

2. We were a laughing stock under W according to liberals and somehow we rose to prestige under BHO? Wrong, BHO didn't get us anywhere, he kissed the other countries hind ends to look more favorable to them, and what did it get us? ****** trade deals and treaties that haven't panned out... Trump's not worried what other countries think of the US, he's worried about getting the best deal for the US and at any cost.

I wasn't an Obama fan, but he did revive the economy during his 8 years.
OH.. Do tell because it wasn't revived on my end until the last year or so.

Quote:The Economy Has Been Growing Since Mid-2009
After contracting sharply in the Great Recession, the economy began growing in mid-2009, following enactment of the financial stabilization bill (TARP) and the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. Economic growth has averaged 2.3 percent per year since then. The pattern of quarterly growth has been uneven, with the expansion including several quarters with growth well above 3.5 percent but also three where it was negative.

Although growth faltered in 2015, it began gathering momentum again in mid-2016. Most recently, however, real (inflation-adjusted) gross domestic product (GDP) rose at a 2.1 percent annual rate in the second quarter of 2019 and was 2.3 percent higher than in the same quarter a year earlier.

A key question is what annual growth rate will be sustainable over time. Most analysts think that the 2017 tax cuts and additional program funding Congress enacted in early 2018 boosted GDP only temporarily. The Trump Administration projects that that growth will continue at about 3 percent in coming years; CBO, in contrast, projects that growth will fall back to under 2 percent over the longer term, as we discuss below in Part III.

Obama inherited a faltering economy and then a massive recession. The economy was growing out of that recession and was hitting full steam by the time he left office.

I'm not sure how that is such a hard concept for people to grasp.

It's not, but in 2016, your lord and savior Obama and his minions the MSM all said that whoever inherited this economy was inheriting a mess... They also said we'd never see GDP growth over 2%...

So please go rattle that sh*t elsewhere..

Let's not forget, BHO stated there were jobs that were gone that were not coming back.. But magically they come back after he left.

For as long as I’ve been following politics (late ’80s), there has never been a time when the out-of-power party was not wishing/hoping bad things would happen to the country, so that they could attack the in-power party at the next election.

Both gangs relish taking advantage of any situation that can sway the balance of power in their direction.
