At least you had an excuse for being late to class.

It was an excuse, but it didn’t work. I had a professor tell me that I should factor that in when coming to class. I never learned that lesson. I was late so many times, both undergrad and graduate.

On time is late.
Early is on time.

Yeah. It's a mentality.

Reminds me of an article about Peyton Manning sometime around when he was leaving the Colts. He was attending a hospital function or something, and was on time, and really antsy and apologizing because he was on time or slightly early instead of his self expected 15 minutes or so early arrival.

I have that same reputation at work. Always a good thing in my book.

That being said, I am NEVER early for any other aspect of my life. Socially, I'm always at least five minutes behind.

I would have preferred a ramp so I could Dukes of Hazard that SOB. I guess the bridge will work though.

The campus is looking good now. It is such a beautiful place.

I'll never forget Dejuan Wagner strolling into Freshman English class 10-20 minutes late. The teacher was maybe 5 years older than us, completely oblivious to him.

"I'm sorry, what's your name?" She would ask him. We just giggled like little school girls.

In the late 90's, I can remember one occasion when I was trying to figure out whether I should climb over the train or not... The train was stopped and tons of people were climbing over. The conductor actually spoke to us over a loud speaker and said: "Please stop climbing over the train. We can't start until you stop climbing".

Must have been a different guy every other time.
