The record was not much better last year but there was improvement. We lost at home SBC game by 30 points 2 years ago and basically got our brains heat out in the other losses. That did not happen last season. Of course we got killed at nevada, but that was at Nevada.

As I understand the process, there is a lot of paperwork. All entities have to contribute to the application: stuff from Ben, stuff from UNLV, stuff from Little Rock. Once the list is completed by everyone... then the waiver is requested and there can be back and forth from the NCAA after that. Sometimes they rubber-stamp it, sometimes they don't. We'll know before the season starts, but it might be days before rather than weeks before.

From what I've heard regarding early workouts we really, really want him to be eligible. Walker seems to like him playing some point forward.
