In 2015 we had FCS, @Arkansas neutral (kind of), Iowa State and Arkansas State. That was 7 home games and very winnable. Last season having the U and 7 home games was cool as well.

What ya got?

Realistic? Let’s assume we finished the previous year 10-3 or 11-2 and have high expectations for the current season:
Michigan St (sign a 3 for 1 deal)
@Iowa (Reputable Big 10 opponent and a nice road trip)
Houston (sign a 2 for 1 deal)
@West Virginia (close enough and beatable)

I’d like a shot at MSU, Michigan version, with a game here.
One other P5, maybe Vanderbilt or Duke.
Cincinnati at home for an in-state OOC rivalry since they’ve not been too far behind us as a program.
One nice road trip school-one of the lesser-light Fla teams would do.

at least every 3 years, an iconic setting
at least every 3 years, a meet-up with one of the excuse teams (OSU, Mich....) or an Upper P5
at least every three years a trip to the SE, S, or West. When's the last time we played a team from Texas?
