You take issue with me not knowing you but you do not have a problem judging others from afar? Hypocrite much?

Yeah, I'm done too. That horse is dust. Unless that LAneck guy chimes in again.

Wait... so was it the players idea, or is it Napier's idea and he's making them do it? Which is it? Now do you see why we are calling BS?

Fun fact: players don't actually have to attend optional summer workouts either!

(But they totally do)

Jeez. Some people cannot think their way out of a wet paper bag.
Napier is a leader of men. He is trying to get kids ready for their future after football. Nothing happens in a vacuum. The kids wanted a way to give back. They voted on this. But nothing happens without the head coach, right?
And you can call BS all you want, it changes nothing. Maybe you should worry about your own house instead of trying to turn another school's progress into something nefarious.

Give us a break. This was nothing more than a PR stunt that backfired terribly on both Napier and ULL. Napier should have simply owned up to his mistake, apologized, and moved on.

And nobody buys that "leader of men" BS either. Napier is a football coach, period. Just like 90% of all G5 football coaches, Napier is constantly auditioning for a better gig. He was trying to do something to bring attention to himself, and he did. It just wasn't the kind of attention he was seeking.

This is really sick that a BR-loser t-coosa fan posts so much and only on a sbc board.

Again, projection. Just because you think that about laneck coaches doesnt mean its true for everyone.
The good thing is that is 0% of anyone else's business. Maybe nech should invest in a bigger water bowl and keep your women's bball coach away from the players

My guess would be that the number of your players that continue to give back after they leave school will be no greater percentage wise than how many players give back on their own after they graduate at other schools.

And you're going to be dead wrong on that one.

There is a school in your own state that charges students a fee which is given to the foundation (this isn't athletics, it's the school foundation).

Grads get so used to giving, that school has the highest percentage of alumni giving of any school.

As this moves forward in the future, our players will continue to give back....because they are being educated in the importance of giving back.

And so are our players, yet they are not being charged a fee to do so while they are still students.

It's bad press dude, just deal with it and quit making excuses about how great and miraculous and altruistic your guys are. They are not special.

I don't care if it's bad press. I have tried to explain the logic behind this. Have a good day.

I understand your attempt to explain the logic behind it. I just don't believe that your guys are so incredibly special and compassionate that they are going to do anything different than any other team in the country that has a coach that cares about them and the future of their program.

So we should just sink to the lowest common denominator? No thanks. We will try to be better than that, but you do you, I guess.
