RE: CAA Football 2019
I think it’s just lazy to fall back and say that games this year were boring. Our fans are boring for sure. But there were 6 home games this year. Four of which the tribe won or was within a score of winning. 2 games sucked for sure but only one of those was without a decent atmosphere...the Towson game. So I go back to my thought on the matter...people either want to support or they don’t. If it takes a big loud band to bring them out it will never happen at William and Mary. Becoming a perennial winner is the goal. In truth, this team was a handful of plays from being a playoff team this season and seemed to have not a clue how to defend. The offense can get over that hump next year with someone healthy at QB. Not sure about the defense. But I will go watch and see.

JMU attendance for their game Friday was 7400 and change, about 1/3 of capacity, with the upper deck bereft of spectators and very few students in attendance.

Games this year were more "fun" than the past few years. We will see if changes can bring some more excitement to the stadium on game day.
