RE: Why does the left get away with lies so often?
Quote:“Good people can go to Charlottesville,” said Michelle Piercy, a night shift worker at a Wichita, Kan., retirement home, who drove all night with a conservative group that opposed the planned removal of a statue of the Confederate general Robert E. Lee.
After listening to Mr. Trump on Tuesday, she said it was as if he had channeled her and her friends — all gun-loving defenders of free speech, she said, who had no interest in standing with Nazis or white supremacists: “It’s almost like he talked to one of our people.”

He said that people "on both sides had very fine people" which was in reference to liberal protesters vs. people marching alongside Nazis and white supremacists.
So it IS incorrect to say he outright said nazis and wsup were fine people. But it's also nonsense to pretend like the marchers AT THAT EVENT were anything besides neonazis and wsup's. We've all seen the videos. No one walks up to a group wearing swastikas and says "Hey I might not be a wsup or a Nazi but can I march with you anyway? I disavow all of your evil tho, tbh".
AT THE VERY BEST, Trump gave neonazis and wp's an accidental wink of support.
AT THE VERY WORST, Trump gave an endorsement to creepy ******* rallies like this one was.
He also says in the video 40 seconds after the "fine people on both sides", I'm not talking about the white supremacists or neo nazis.
I know words are hard for you since you stated you'd leave for good if HRC lost, but I can't make it any simplier than that for you.
This was the press conference to clear up the first foot in mouth.
Same press conference Mach.. Not a different one..
Educator, educate thyself.. Stop listening to CNN and MSNBC..

Are you this dense or are you just so married to leftist talking points that you can't think for yourself? You've been shown multiple times how wrong your take on all this is yet you persist. Insanity or willful ignorance?

I stand by what I said. Trump said there were fine protestors on both sides at that rally. I dont agree. One side had nazis, white supremacists, and those willing to walk side by side with them. None of those are "fine people".

And the answer to the OP's question.
Despite being proven wrong, they stick to their guns. Probably didn't read the proof that they were pushing a lie. It amazes me how often the left puts out an article and doesn't even read their own article, which contradicts what they say.
Its like the definition of a racist or bigot by the progressives (and not always progressives-see libertarian LGBT advocates). It doesn't mean anything like racist at all. It just means, "I hate you and don't want to hear what you have to say."

Which is all very convenient for you. However, your assertion that others who were there merely to protest the changing of the park’s name were marching in lockstep with said white supremacists is patently absurd and demonstrably false. You are sticking to that one because it is also very convenient for you to equate anyone who is on the other side politically with nazis...and you think you are less likely to be called out on it than the other bit of hyperbole.

I dont equate everyone on the other side of the aisle as Nazi. We agree to disagree on people protesting side by side with open Nazis and White Supremacists as fine people.
RE: Why does the left get away with lies so often?
The Left makes decisions based on feelings and not facts. Feelings aren’t quantifiable so you can’t convince a Leftie his feelings are wrong. He just knows he’s right because of how he feels. It’s like debating with a teenage girl.
Look no further than the Lemmings you see protesting whatever that week’s DNC talking point is. When they are questioned they know nothing about whatever they are protesting.

Jason Kessler.
Is this Mr. Kessler a "very fine person"?
He was an Obama supporter and involved in the Occupy movement. Then he claimed to be red pilled. He raised money to hire the tiki torch guys and bused them in.

Sorry you wont change my mind on that.
You are the one distilling it down to a simplistic, “us vs them” event...which it never ever was.

Please stop spreading lies as if they are truths.... especially in a thread about the left lying. You're DEMONSTRABLY lying.... I suspect because you simply don't know... because you've been lied to... so I'm not blaming you
From the very same interview, literally moments after the comment you're alluding to.... not some 'response' to it, but the very interview.... And you had people -- and I’m not talking about the neo-Nazis and the white nationalists -- because they should be condemned totally. But you had many people in that group other than neo-Nazis and white nationalists. Okay? And the press has treated them absolutely unfairly.
The Rally you're speaking of was in response to taking down a statue and renaming a park. There were people who were against that, and NOT because they are neo-nazis and white nationalists. THAT is VERY clearly whom Trump was talking about, while absolutely condemning those others...
The left gets away with lying because the issues they tell lies about are indefensible if true... and when someone points out that they aren't true, they are most often labeled in such a way that it's not worth fighting the lies. Trump is a racist. Trump is putting children in cages. Trump is calling Nazis 'fine people'. Those are all lies, but it's not worth my personal reputation to put much weight into fighting the lie.

so you condemn Tulsi Gabbard and Ilhan Ohmar? They protest side by side with David Duke on US support for Israel

You either stand by what you said or you don't.
You've been proven wrong, yet again JDT..
But we understand.. Your word is about as useful as sh*t stained toilet paper.
