Is Beto really anyone's "hero"? Dude can't even hit 1 percent consistently.

We have a population of around 800k in El Paso and its suburbs. We also have a population that is 80% Demoncraps which is around 640k. So that probably accounts for the 1% that he is polling. I'm being facetious here but if you lived here you would find out how stupidly Demoncraptic our people are. For them to ACTUALLY think that Robert would make a good president is ludicrous in itself. But, there are many, many El Pasoans who believe this.

UGH, kill me now!

I would imagine the only folks running for president right now who could change a flat and look competent doing so would be Tulsi, Pete, Delaney, and maybe Biden.

No. Primarily because I doubt he's driven anything beyond a golf cart in decades.

I also can't see Trump trying to stage a photo op of himself changing a tire to pander by making himself look like a common man.

Tru dat! We can fix anything with a pair of pliers and wire. LOL

Maybe that's why my Grandfather, who spent his whole career fixing airplanes for the Air Force, was afraid to fly.

HEY! I resent that, I was an aircraft mechanic in the Air Force.

But, you'd never get me to fly in one. Ha, ha,

I had AAA for years until I realized my car insurance company offered the exact same service. Didn't see the need to pay for the same service twice so I dropped AAA a couple years ago.

Not just El Paso. We were in Austin last September for my mothers funeral and we went by her childhood home in the (then) Austin suburbs. A friggin beta sign in probably 80% of those homes as well.

I get the whole "keep Austin weird" thing they're trying to make stick, but really? This guy? He's a complete clown.

AAA is absolutely useless. They stiff their local contract companies so much that typically the companies drop them as soon as the contract is over. Most of the time the only reason a company signs with AAA is because they are new and it helps get their name out there.

Late one night when I was riding as acting Battalion Chief I was coming back from a call and saw a disabled vehicle in a pretty dangerous location so I stopped to see if I could help. The alternator had gone out so there wasn't much I could do other than call a tow truck for them. Since the car owner was a member of AAA they wanted to use their service so I had my dispatcher give them a call. Two hours later the tow truck arrived and I noticed it was a wrecker service from a town two counties over. When I asked the driver how they got the call he said "Because we are the only ones stupid enough to tow for them. As soon as our contract runs out we are dropping them ourselves."

If you live in a metro area big enough to where they have actual dedicated roadside assistance it might be worth it, but if you aren't you are better off keeping your money in your pocket or seeing if you can add that coverage from your insurance company.

I pay a 5.99 a month rider on our insurance for each kid. Had to use it 3-4 times already in about 18 months.

Exactly...it's a rip off. Additionally, many car makers offer a similar service that you can call for as well if your car breaks down.

AAA is a rip off unless you keep looking your keys in your car or just have rotten luck with your car.

We had their insurance because we move around so much.. What I was paying for two vehicles for 6 months was more expensive than what I pay now with a different insurance company for a year, that's with more coverage, gap insurance, and a new vehicle.
