RE: Is This Present Design The Final Design of Protective Stadium?

That is part of the value of a smaller stadium. More people will go on and pay for season tickets instead of playing the walk up game. The better seats will belong to someone else, you won't be able to get tickets the day of the game and plop yourself down between the forties. That's an incentive to invest in the seats that you want to sit in instead of rolling the dice.
Season ticket sales provide a more stable flow of income to the athletic department, helping with the budget.

It’s amazing how some people refuse to question anything. Especially UAB fans. I apologize if I want a great stadium instead of an average one. There are some other issues with the design that are lacking but if I point them out I’ll probably be banned from the message board.
It's more that we are long past the time to bring those issues up. The design is finalized and construction has begun. At this point in the process the contractor is building a structure to the blueprint that the architect designed and the BJCC approved.
You can complain about the parts of the design that you feel are lacking if you wish, but the only real value in doing so is venting your frustration.

Actually the final design has not been approved. It is being brought up now because if the issues are not fixed now it will be too late

Do we have any updates on who will be our home opener in 2021?
Looks like we still have that slot left.
It would be great to have a great game and series to help sell season tickets.
Any guess or preferences?

My guess is either Alabama St or Alabama A&M. Helps us get a sell-out and open the stadium with a win.
