The "wealthy" saw their taxes increase. Non-job creators like Bette Midler were bitching about how much more they were having to pay. Maybe if you researched the talking points instead of simply parroting what the hive-mind told you to say, you wouldnt come across as so stupid and out of touch with reality.

So explain something to me.

Why is it greedy to want to keep more of what you earned, but not greedy to want to take what somebody else earned?

The far left, and increasingly dems in general, don't view and individual's income as belonging to the individual.

The scariest thing is that these loons are talking not to the folks voting in the coming election but to the ones voting 8 years or more from now that know no other way than to have people promise free chit and entitlement.

Who's money is it?

We have a spending problem...not a revenue problem and NEITHER gang has the balls to do anything about it.

The comment was clearly designed to mimic the title, but it DOES reflect the attitude of much of the left.

They don't understand one bit that in order to benefit from a tax cut, you have to engage in activities that would generate a tax bill. As the wealthy don't usually pay 'income' taxes, they have to generate investment gains... which of course help them... but also help those in whom they have invested.

Even if it is just buying GM stock and having it go up, that GENERALLY means that GM is growing and expanding which of course creates jobs/opportunities

Can't have people doing stuff on their own, the government must help...

Scariest words in the English language:

I'm from the government and I'm here to help.

We're talking about (relatively poor) people receiving basic necessities like health care and education vs. rich people stockpiling more money / luxuries than they will ever need ... which one constitutes greed?

Who stockpiles money? I’m not aware of any rich person who does anything but put his/her money to work, creating jobs and opportunity for the poor and middle class.

What do you think they do with their money?

This is like the time a rich guy was being admonished for buying a brand new Corvette. The rich guy had to educate the person by telling him that he was keeping many people employed because those people made and sold items that were needed in the car to build it.

All he knows of economic he learned from ducktales. Thinks all 'rich' people keep their money in a vault like Scrooge McDuck.
