He also had 2 big runs called back over holding. I think one was a short reception that he broke free on, and another was an off tackle run up the gut.

He looks very fast and explodes into the secondary so quickly. And he finishes the runs falling forward most of the time.

Because of the Zeke Elliot holdout Pollard has basically gotten all the reps as the featured back all of camp and throughout the preseason.

Can't really put a price tag on getting those first team reps all summer long.

He is in position to be make a serious contribution right out of the gate.

He was the network spotlight player during the game. Got an extended look and did not disappoint. (I just watched the replay.)
I was wrong about him too. I still think he would have improved his draft status this year. But the injury risk was not worth it given how he's performing.

So when will the University start supporting Tony's family in Pollard's BBQ to supply the Highland Hundred in the tent for pre-game meals? Are Logistics the issue to make it economically infeasible for mass distribution? Surely we could
work out a deal with the city to offer them prime real estate within the LB at a discount due to their Memphis brand name associated with Tony Pollard.

I believe Rendezvous and Corky's have paid good money to be official BBQ partners with UofM in the past.
Central is owned by former Memphis students and current Memphis fans, and is a easy 5-iron from LBMS.
I don't think you just hand over the business due to a connection to a former player.
