Sucks for us, if Brady White goes down for any reason, we're thin at experience at QB behind him.

This many qbs leaving , when our quarterback play is average at best is telling me, no matter how they perform, Norvell is going with Brady White and guys behind them feel it’s not a fair shake. Why would a freshman running number 2 not at least see how it plays out unless just tired of the way Brady White gets coddled. White needs to look better than last year to prove me wrong, and what I’m hearing he’s not.

IMO, I thought McBride was pretty good. Very mobile and could throw the ball adequately. He would have been a very good backup QB, and eventual starter after Brady White. But he was never going to play, unless an injury happens. Norvell is not going to budge an inch on Brady White. With White being a junior I suppose McBride saw that he was going to sit and watch for two more years.

At this level, not seeing the field consistently is very hard. These guys work their butts off on a daily basis. Those of you that played collegiately can relate. I wish him well. Everyone wants to be “in the game.”

anyone got the season stats for the # 2 guy who left last year?

expect the same from this # 2.

I expected Connor Adair to transfer since Brady White was given an extra year of eligibility. He will on have 1 year to compete for the starter position.

Yeah I think the players should prove themselves to us fans too. Screw the coaches. I heard the backup to the backup deep snapper is really getting overlooked too. And we’ve really had some serious turnover at waterboy. Not looking good for this season. Lucky to win 2 games, IMO.

Who saying we aren’t going to win. In our offense we could put Joey magnifico at quarterback and we would be ok, he could throw screen passes and handoff. Probably have good statistics! If you don’t see something weird here, this was a highly regarded redshirt freshman that left one week into camp; as a concern, your drinking to much blue koolaid!

I do hate this new trend of waiting until school is about to start to transfer. Would be better for all involved to do the transfer after Christmas break.

Agree and I think the rule should be you can put your name on transfer list the semester after the one you have had any official workouts or practices.

That would be January for McBride.

I agree with your read of the QB situation. I think that David Moore was better, at least last year.

I agree with your read of the QB situation. I think that David Moore was better, at least last year. Brady is the choice of Norvell, Never really a true competition

Brady White was slightly injured against Navy last year.
It affected him planting his feet and throwing...so at times he was suspect as a passer.
This year should silence the doubters.
