The issue is how close it is to the start of the season....strange how the timing is so similar to last year....

I'm sure its coaches saying "the starting job is wide open, we're going to compete through camp and then name a starter." Then after a couple weeks, it becomes apparent who will start. Guys decide they better go ahead and transfer so they can sit out a year and be ready for camp the following year. Byproduct of college football, nobody wants to be a backup.

This tells me he wasn't even number 2.

Norvell recruited White to Arizona St. Then he recruited him to come here. White is the man until he is out of eligibility. Get used to it.

Ya, that really should not be a shock to anybody. For a QB to have replaced White they would have had to have been far better, NFL or borderline NFL level talent.

I don't know where you get your info but I heard he left because we don't have an OCS.

Wow... I just looked at the roster and his name/info is gone, was it ever there? Did he check out even before practice had started and it's just now come to our attention?
