Gotcha! IMO, the mere notion that anyone would think that merely criticizing someone of a different color is automatically racism is asinine. It makes no sense unless the person that thinks that is racist themselves.

I agree, I just think common sense has escaped us.

It just seems like white man (no matter the party) bad now.

So...she doesn’t have any proof he’s a racist, has never met him, just doesn’t like him. He is white and the woman she’s campaigning for is black, so he’s a racist. Also, this is the mayor that set off a local firestorm for removing a Nathan Bedford Forrest statue, because clearly only a racist would be motivated to do that, right?

This was at a luncheon for a Memphis mayoral candidate who blamed police officers when her county commissioner district rioted and injured a few officers over a police shooting a few months ago.
