Could be - UC is a tough, gritty team that has found a way to win when not playing their best. I don’t know what to expect - we’re pretty talented but our pass defense can be abused, for sure. It may come down to who has the ball last.

I have been reading about Memphis on this board for the last month. And how it will be a tough game. What’s the deal with Memphis? Is it the coach? Have they upgraded their recruiting over the last five years? I know it is a hotbed of talent for basketball, but are they getting the leftovers from Florida, Georgia, Alabama? Four stars?

I have been reading about Memphis on this board for the last month. And how it will be a tough game. What’s the deal with Memphis? Is it the coach? It is the HC he is an Offense genius. Plus they have a game changer in Gibson that they put all over the field on O. He lines up at RB, WR, and return Punts and Kicks I think. They have a good QB that can get it to their WR's. I think their D is suspect so we can maybe score some points.

They score a hell of a lot. When you struggle to score no matter how good you play on D it forces you to be nearly perfect and then plan on 4 turnovers by the other team...mix in it being a road game and that is why few people reasonably expect a win.

Really good HC as it relates to offense. Almost all of their players a 3 star guys from .Tennessee, Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi. They have a big fast WR and 2 RBs that are home run hitters.

Would love to be at minimum only down 7 by halftime. Can't get down 20+ since we don't have receivers or QB that can bring us back.

Defense will need to create turnovers. Hopefully the DLine can get in the backfield to apply pressure, setting up some takeaways for the secondary. Looking at you, Perry, Malik, Coby, Ja’von
