I don’t think Penny has an organizer in the basketball office to oversee s*** like this, scheduling and the Precious situation. The AD was obviously not interested in basketball so it’s going to have to be done there and I believe it’s the same crew as the 90s along with some youngsters and they aren’t getting the job done. Penny is too nice.

Yeah, weird.

Teams in the Bahamas not streamed:
Temple, , Murray State, Memphis, , Chattanooga, , McNeese State, Duquesne and Furman

Teams in the Bahamas streamed:
Georgetown, Texas Tech, Delaware

Our football centric Administration again. Penny probably doesn’t care as he wants to keep the pressure off this team as long as possible and he knows social media will pick everyone’s game apart based on glorified scrimmages but this is ludicrous.

What is ludicrous? Penny has the most glorious basketball facilities in the NCAA being built and funded by Memphis Boosters.

So, please extrapolate further on our Football Finances and our Financial Stategy. I'd be delighted to listen to your Financial Analysis, or lack thereofe.

I've been enjoying the team's pics on twitter. Few of them but they're fun. Team appears to be enjoying themselves.

MTO members should share their pics, so us poor members can live vicariously.

There is so much wrong with your post, I started to ignore. But I just couldn't walk away:
A) Penny has a complete staff, save one position.
B) The Precious situation was known a couple of months ago, as just about all players were applying for passports. They hoped to get resolution - it didn't work out.
C) Bowen is gone, so just stop with that tired old line.
D) While Bowen was here, the program had their best facilities improvement in history and hired Penny.
E) It's not the same crew - there have been massive turnover in the past 5ish years.

Thanks. Looks like all of Memphis’s games will be streamed. Now I just need to figure out what 5 pm Bahamas time means to me on the East Coast.

Streaming. This wasnt a trick question was it?

I would rather have our kick ass party bus

Thing is, 10s of thousands would enjoy the stream. Only a handful would get to enjoy the party bus.

You can watch these games for 3 days. That party bus can transport recruits and any new friends they make for years.

I don't know that that means games will be streamed. But time in the Bahamas = East Coast time. i.e. same time

Why is scheduling so f***** up for a high major? I can’t for the life of me recall the details last year that gave me the same impression. Penny/Mike are not an organizers per se. Dwight could be taking care of these things but not sure if he is detailed as need be. Tony is pure coach.

A simple phone call to our esteemed Rep Cohen should have got this Precious thing cleared up. Exceptions are made frequently when State department gets involved and sure Cohen, with his many years of being a house member, has contacts there.

I’m not buying any of your story. RE: Delaware streams and mighty Memphis, the offseason story of the year doesn’t it or on the slim chance it is, it’s not announced on game morning at Noon Bahamas time.

As for the rest of your “mistakes”, we will feel the affects of Bowen’s football scheduling screwups for many years to come.
Bowen wanted to keep Penny another year so HE DIDN’T HIRE PENNY. Tiger fans demanded he be hired.
Bill Laurie (with a couple of other mega boosters) brought in by Dr Rudd are responsible for most of facility improvements.

Bowen wanted to keep Orlando and he had very little with the increased fundraising. Rudd and Martin were responsible for the connections which led to the increased donations to the athletic department. All Bowen did was to take credit for the work of others.

The venue Georgetown is playing in looks like a traditional gym venue. Maybe the infrastructure was set up for streaming better than where the Tigers are playing.
