From 2009-2015 you were more likely to die in a mass shooting in France, Norway, Serbia, Belgium, Finland, and many more. So don’t tell me that gun control works.

Some updated data from a reliable source. And yes, gun control works in countries that have it, I'll tell you that all day long pal.
I just showed you stats that unanimously show that you are more likely to die in a mass shooting in 10 other advanced countries before the US. So, you want to ban all the guns then to reduce gun violence? You do realize that close to 80% of gun homicides are gang related right? Great, so we will disarm every American and let the gangs run free in the streets with illegally obtained guns. Great plan.

I just showed you more recent and accurate stats that refute that play on statistics.
And no, I don't want to "ban all the guns to reduce gun violence".
How's that reading comprehension coming for you?

80% of that violence is gang related buddy. Wipe out the gangs and guess how much gun violence you have? Bad people do bad things, taking away guns isn’t going to stop them, it hasn’t stopped them in Paris, hasn’t stopped them in Switzerland, hasn’t stopped them in London. It’s ok tho, the 2a isn’t going anywhere. Just be thankful you live in the US where you have a right to protect yourself and you don’t have to depend on the unarmed bobbies of London to save your ass. Ps, if you’re truly worried about reducing gun violence then yes you would be in favor of an all out gun ban, handguns are the #1 killer, so you need to ban those before you go after the so called “weapons of war” you speak about.

You simply don’t know. And you straw man comparing of countries adds no value to the conversation.
This thread drew out some really piss poor rationalization. Embarrassing.

Not a straw man comparison. Banning guns will do nothing but create a black market for the gangs just as it has with drugs and prohibition. It’s so obvious. Sorry bud, but the US isn’t going to become a socialist utopia, no matter how much you or Bernie scream bloody murder for it.

The Crime Prevention Research Center has a strong right wing bias. Always skeptical of any source that requests funds with a pop up ad.
The Council on Foreign Relations is a highly respected source that is considered among the least biased.
According to the nationalgangcenter.gov "gang-related homicides typically accounted for around 13 percent of all homicides ". Not 80% as has been claimed.
Sources matter.

RE: Think it might be time.
OK, I went back and reread it.
"The total number of gang homicides reported by respondents in the NYGS sample averaged nearly 2,000 annually from 2007 to 2012. During roughly the same time period (2007 to 2011), the FBI estimated, on average, more than 15,500 homicides across the United States ( http://www.fbi.gov/about-us/cjis/ucr/cri.../table-1). These estimates suggest that gang-related homicides typically accounted for around 13 percent of all homicides annually."
Interesting article directly related to the subject of gang gun homicides https://www.huffpost.com/entry/do-we-hav..._b_5071639

Gang members killing other gang members is different than a racist driving 600 miles to El Paso with an AK to intentionally murder "Mexicans" because he believes in Trump's rhetoric about "invasion."

And why if laws don't matter should we worry about illegal immigration?

I'm not sure it's that "black and white"
Both the El Paso and New Zealand suspects echo the exaggerated rhetoric of environmentalists.
He talked as much about about not mixing Americans with Hispanics coming over the border and how immigrants were a problem for jobs than he did about the environment. Nobody in the Sierra Club, Greenpeace, the Nature Conservancy or other enviro group is running around shooting people. Its ironic that people worried about immigrants are far worse than the immigrants.
