Arizona State used to be a party powerhouse. Clearly they need to hire a new party coach and replace their party stadium, maybe build a party practice facility.

RE: Princeton Review Top Party Schools
Southern Illinois was once ranked as a top-3 party school in the mid-2000's. Had a nationally renowned Halloween scene. Then the administration and city worked to cancel the annual Halloween extravaganza and work to make SIU about "academics" and wash their hands of its party reputation.

SIU has been in a death spiral since. No identity.

Don't let academia ruin a party school.

For the record, BYU, as is usual, is #1 on the stone cold sober schools list.

It sounds a bit like NIU regarding football. They used to allow kegs in tailgating, but then the concern was that students would try to finish the keg so you couldn't have kegs. Then they had an issue with the bottles being thrown once so you couldn't have bottles. Over time they remove most of the fun from tailgating and students lose interest.

I can see Bucknell on that list. Its one of the most expensive schools to go to in the USA. Those rich kids need something to do up there for 4 years since the closest thing to entertainment up there is the State Prison. 05-stirthepot 05-stirthepot 05-stirthepot04-jawdrop 04-jawdrop 04-jawdrop05-mafia 05-mafia 05-mafia 04-cheers

Caffeine is now allowed. Mitt Romney was seen drinking a Coke during his 2012 failed run. The honchos of the church had a revelation and said it was ok.

Tempe has many party practice facilities. I have practiced at several of them myself.

That was always odd to me. The prohibition in the revealed tablets was regarding hot beverages. How that became a cold caffeinated beverage seemed odd.

I had this discussion with one of my Mormon neighbors a couple years ago. As I recall, he said it was an interpretation of the dietary code passed down by some church leaders decades ago and was separate and distinct from the prohibition of hot beverages.

What does Miami University have to do with my discussion with one of my neighbors?

For the record Miami is not private, but they do consider themselves a "public ivy" (in fairness, some guy wrote a book ago and put Miami down as a public ivy alongside Michigan, UNC, Virginia, etc.).

Bucknell sits in and by towns where the coal industry left decades ago. It's a very sad area.

IUP is just in the middle of nowhere. They're like pro's up there. They'll be buses and caravans of people coming down to University Park, Clarion, Lock Haven, PSU Altoona, and UPJ, while having their own scenes up there drawing from other sources in return. They run a good game. 04-cheers

I just saw it in your footer and asked the question. I always thought it was private; thanks for clarifying that for me.

Wake Forest sure has reached depths of depravity since they moved to the big city and away from the sleepy town of Wake Forest. Back in those days, premarital sex was banned on campus for fear that it might lead to dancing.

Most of these schools are located in Northeast. People need to consume alcohol to keep warm in snowy day. The exception is Florida, Florida State and Alabama. Student drink alcohol to celebrate another football victory.

I don't know what's going on in Wake Forest.

Who the heck considers Miami OH a public ivy university? Laughable when the acceptance rate is 70%.
