So you are subscribing to the idea of this all being a C-O-N-spiracy? I don’t think anyone would be 30mil guaranteed just to take a trap door to NE

Brown wanted out. The Raiders were already tired of his 01-rivals 01-rivals 01-rivals. Brown's agent knew that the guaranteed $ in the Raiders contract was voided as soon as Brown was fined once, and that getting fined was inevitable.

So yeah, I think that they staged this in order to get released, and that the Patriots had already told the agent that they would sign Brown if he was released.

All he had to do was show up to walk-thru's and practices. Him choosing not to just for 10 mill just seems odd. Are the Raiders really THAT bad?

By throwing tantrums until the Raiders released him, AB got a better deal for himself money wise, given who he is.

Raiders: $30 million guaranteed over the life of the contract but all of it voided if he was ever fined, and there was never any possibility that he could control himself enough to have good behavior through the entire contract.

Patriots: $9 million signing bonus, paid up front. As soon as that money is safely in Brown's account, it's his. He could light Belichick's hoodie on fire in the middle of a game and he would still get to keep the $9 million.

Redskins game a whole different animal than the others.

The Dolphins are a class all unto themselves.... They gave up 378 passing yards to the Ravens with Lamar Jackson and RG3 as QB- 23-26. It's gonna be fun to see what the pointspread is with Dolphins/Patriots next week- Pats should be favored by at least 17 points.

Accurate. Dan Quinn is no different the Mike Smith. It’s tell when the best OC the Falcons can get is retread Dirk Cutter.

While I still find it unbelievable, I guess we’ll see how he behaves in NE

Gardner Minshew, a former ECU QB who played at Washington State last season as a grad transfer, played really well for the Jags after Foles had to leave the game. 22 for 25 passing, 2 TDs.
