I like the little onesie that the Cardinal is wearing. That's cute.

I also think they should pay further homage to Freedom Hall and install recessed lighting.

Nah, you wouldn't be able to see the ACC logo with recessed lighting.

LOL!

The shorts were freakin' short and the fro's were freakin' fro's too (in the 70's). Some point guards were 5'10" but listed at 6'4" with the fro.

I mean, even white guys wanted a fro to add 3-6 inches to their height.

^^^of course, we all know Kelly Tripucka played for the Irish for at least 17 years (so he was "seasoned")^^^

Cool court, I'm glad it's not another played out cityscape.

My only issue is the dumb ACC logo. The conference needs to go back to the classic:

Tough to say, there is definitely an “A M”.

Loyola Ramblers, the color scheme makes sense.

Fordham Rams, but I don’t think they ever wore gold.

Looks like dark red trim, but maybe some sort of exposure changed the color? I suppose Michigan isn’t out of the question.

University of Guam? 03-lmfao

Could it be an A Y? Or A W?

Trying to think of Midwestern schools, or catholic schools ...

What if its a mascot name on the jersey, instead of the school? What could it be?

RE: New Louisville basketball court
What's interesting to me is ND and Michigan have only faced one another in MBB 17 times since 1950. With both schools being relatively close in Michiana, I guess I expected them to have played one another more frequenty.

The internet lists Tripucka as having played in South Bend from '77 to '81. Note, I think that is a lie because I am pretty sure he played for ND for 17 years. 03-thumbsup

During his time there - I mean, if you believe he was only there for 4 seasons - they faced Michigan only once. It was a big game in the new Detroit Pontiac Silverdome. It drew 37K fans. It might make some sense that ND is in green unis and the opponent appears in yellow/goldish...though hard to determine from the pic if it was maize.

I'm leaning towards it isn't Michigan, but wouldn't be surprised if it is/was.

There is a movement to go back to shorter shorts.

I would have rather seen some shorts on the Cardinal but it's a cool looking court.

You're just noticing that? It's been that way forever. It's part of their brand.
