No, Tuascoosa is on 106.9 and that other school is on 99.5.

Samford is the school that showed hundreds of naked pics on their annual a few years ago. A little rock n roll is nothing.

This is an article from 2013. Samford is not on the radio at all. I'm a Samford. graduate and think this is ridiculous. I've let them know my feelings and they could care less. Samford only broadcasts games via internet. As a UAB graduate this is great for our fans and UAB.

I have been able to pick Samford up in years past on 99.5 (obviously as mentioned).

I thought that there might be a conflict with Alabama changing channels.

With that said, I think I have been able to run across some Troy games on the radio here locally.

I may try out the Sirius XM channels to see if I can pick up some of these games.

I renewed my subscription to it recently and pretty much listen to it exclusively over the regular radio.

Speaking of Samford, Devlin Hodges is attempting to make the Steelers squad.

He went to high school at Jordan (from our community)

& one would think with the new relationship in broadcasting that they would not feel a desire to ask Clark about Alabama in every interview.

Dunaway mentioned that Jox's 3 Man Front would be broadcasting from the UAB football complex tomorrow from 10-2.

I just listened to the podcast.
All UAB.
I am so happy to listen to 94.5 and Blazer Football.

My bad. I do remember hearing Samford games on 91.1 FM which is owned by Samford. What happened with that?

Guess I'll have to be a little nicer to Dunaway on Twitter now.

Samford sold 91.1 and new owners I think have something to do with Jazz Music Hall of Fame at the Lyric Theater. Several years ago Samford announced Mike Grace was retiring at baseball game and had a celebration. He was a very good announcer. Then they got rid of another very talented guy running 91.1 Andy Parrish when station sold.It was part of their all internet broadcasting plans. I feel everyone needs a radio home especially for the local fans but the internet reaches a lot rmore folks. I shouldn't have said Samford does not care, but they do need local radio. The quality of internet streaming is really good which I enjoy.
