Even better. And I have asked store or departmental buyers at times too. If even a few dozen of us start doing that consistently it helps.
Beat OSU next month and watch the UC gear fly off the shelves locally. In that case, many more will be asking where the Bearcat tees, hats, jerseys and polos are. Short of that, produce another great season and the brand will continue to grow and prosper.

I just went into Costco and got a nice UC polo. I've given up on the mall department stores in the region. Meijer is the other place that usually has good stuff.

Any suggestions on looking for UC gear for little kids? I found tons of great stuff for my daughter when she was a newborn through about 1 year old. Now that she is in 18-24 month type clothes I've only found a couple things, none I particularly liked. Not looking for onsie's anymore if possible.

Other than the campus bookstore and Dubois on Calhoun I haven't seen much UC kids clothing out there unfortunately. One Upon a Child stores usually has lots of great UC clothes for kids--used, but often unworn and still sporting department store price tags. All at rock bottom prices.
Somewhat related to the UA theme of this thread, we stopped at Liberty Center yesterday evening for dinner. Dillard's had no 2019 UC -UA polos and just a handful of long sleeve tees and hats. Dick's had very little UA product but did have the 2019 polos. So I'm just echoing a concern some have expressed earlier on this thread. Where is the UA gear in retail stores for UC for 2019, twenty days before kickoff?

I find you have to go to Dubois/UC bookstore for a really good selection. Sometimes TJ Maxx will randomly have good stuff (I bought jerseys there for my kids last year) but it's hit or miss. Also Target has a selection but it's off brand stuff.

Koch’s Sporting Goods on 4th St.
I buy all of my granddaughters’ Bearcat apparel there.

It's really sad how Cincy Shirts has partnerships and licensing deals with most every other school in the region but not UC.. BGSU, NKU, Miami, Xavier, Wright State, OU, Dayton are all options but UC is a hold out.

May be the licensing deal with UA that precludes it. OSU isn't on that list either.

I saw some UC gear made by Russell at Wal-Mart. How is that possible?
Actually picked up a really cool UC ball cap (made by Russell) for $10 bucks.

The UA/UC deal isn't exclusive except in terms of team uniforms and coaches' attire. UC logo shirts are made by numerous other licensees such as Champion, Cutter and Buck, Antigua and plenty more.
The idea is to have product at various price points to ge more people wearing the brand. The guy who attends one UC game a year with a friend is probably happy with a $20 UC polo; the season ticket holder may want the current year's $80 UA shirt the coaches wear. The NFL and MLB seem to follow this same model in producing product for every fan's budget.

Champion, Alternative, Gear for Sports, and Under Armour at retail are distributed by the same company Gear for Sports by Hanes Brand. It’s why you will see the UC bookstore and other retail establishments loaded up with a lot of Champion products at lower price points than UA. Basically it’s all the same company using a license to distribute fan apperal to different tiers. Homage, 47 Brand, and the Original Retro Brand are really the only high end mainstream options outside of a Hanes label. One issue with the UA deal is that it put UC under the Hanes inc family of brands, good if you love Champion and Alternative Apperal. No more Tailgate, Majestic, Fanatics or Adidas. Honestly go the Gear for Sports website, then look at UC licensees as it is rather limited in the apparel department. Then check the bookstore website and realize it’s all coming from the same place minus a few select companies.

I've thought about ordering this one. I mean my wife thinks I wear too many UC Polos as his, but I think this one is slick. https://shop.gobearcats.com/mens-colosse...2948201675
Nice!
Much more reasonable price too. If they had a red and black fade like that, I would get it. Will have to flip through the site.

RE: Under Armour sux for fans
At Tri-county Costco yesterday and they had a nice selection of UC outerwear for men and women along with men's polo shirts. Mostly Champion brand. My wife got a nicely detailed, red quarter zip pullover with the C-Paw embroidered on the front for about $27. That UC table was generating a lot of traffic.
Also interesting to note--they had a special standing display near the entrance of collegiate sports socks; UC, OSU and X. The OSU display was about half full; the X display was almost completely full. There were just two packages of UC socks remaining. Anecdotal evidence of course, but among these schools I'm betting UC product is far and away in the highest demand, at least inside I-275. Other retailers, please take note.

UC is an CLC legacy school. Which is now part of IMG. Ohio State does all their licensing in houston. The minor schools in Ohio were not part of CLC and basically easy to partner with because they valued brand exposure over quality control and money.

Re: UC licensing
I was trying to get a lot of custom UC hats made from the game and initially got the go ahead but they just came back with the below email.
http://www.thecollegeshack.com/
I am very sorry to report that The Game has been denied licensing rights for the University of Cincinnati.
Some of the colleges are entering into exclusive noncompete agreements with the larger manufacturers like Nike and Under Armor. I’m not sure if that is the case with Cincinnati but, regardless, The Game is not able to make them at this time. Your credit card has not been charged.
As you can see below, I did check with The Game as soon as I received your order and was informed that they did have the license. Apparently Cincinnati was on their approved list in the past and was never removed.
Please accept our sincere apologies. If there is anything we can do for you in the future, please do not hesitate to ask.
