Marc Gasol rewriting history
Read it here

I love Marc but we all saw he wasn't be giving the Grizzlies his best last season.

I'm glad he got a Natty but he should be thankful the Grizz gave him that opportunity to play with Toronto.

I just don't get this type of article.

RE: Marc Gasol rewriting history
I think it is perfectly acceptable. He did NOT want to leave the Grizzlies and there ended up being a huge silver lining in the end. Great for him.

He looked pretty much the same in Memphis and Toronto. Age is just catching up to him and the NBA game is outgrowing his style.

The part of the article where Gasol said he was leading the Grizzlies last season has been removed.

Gasol appeared at best to give partial effort,in fact at times he pretty much quit imo.

Hardly what you need from your leader.

I love Marc but it was time for him to move on.

Except he had better pieces around him. Pau did the same thing. Both are great players but not really good enough to be the no.1 option on a championship team. They can fit at 3rd or 4th quite well.

I 100% agree with MTP. It was definitely time for Marc to move on. We might should have done it during the previous 22-60 season. I love Marc also and am very appreciative of all he did here. This upcoming season when Toronto makes their only visit to the FEF, I'll stand and cheer with everyone else while they show the Gasol video tribute. It'll be a well deserved night for him.
