I bet those who actually worked on the plantations would not compare working on campus to the slave labor on plantations.

A $15/hr minimum wage is NOT the same thing as a living wage.

If your household is 1 adult with 3 children your Living Wage is $31.54/hr.

For a household with 2 adults and 3 children you take a pay cut. Your Living Wage is only $16.15/hr.

Basketball per seat donations skyrocketed under Penny. Don’t think Rudd has those in included in that number. Many years they haven’t and bypassed donations and basketball revenue and went straight as an offset to All scholarships expenses in athletics. It was never consistently accounted for under Bowen; who tried to make FB look as good as possible rather than accounting for the donations properly. This was an issue that, among others, led to his dismissal. Dates back to RC.

The Lauries' gift of $10 million was the highest ever to athletics, but this article said that it was only the second largest single gift to the school... so even higher!
