This has been Memphis teams achilles heels for quite some time.

Start of each season I point to the need to BOX OUT as being one of the main focus of the team in order to be successful. Here's to hoping they have it figured out now

Good drill complimented by:
We got a new coach that knows how to recruit.
We got a coach who knows how to hire assistants who can coach and recruit.
We got a coach who went out and hired one of the top player developers.
We got a bunch of new players.
We got players with elite talent.
We got players who look like men not wimp role rejects from the beach ad for muscle building programs.
We gonna be alright.

The initial forearm hit looks like Izzo's approach/style. Find him, hit him, get the ball. Very few players take the time to position the opponent away from the ball during the box out. They're always so quick to track the ball down.

Anyway......love seeing the training vids. Games are won/lost right now. We have talent. So does everyone else. GET IT!

Damn these videos have me ready for some Tiger BB. I can't wait...Memphis fans are going to love this team.

BTW, where's JW? I didn't see him in the videos or photos of today's practice.
