We apparently picked up a grad transfer WR. Now appearing on the roster is Keith Mixon (5'8", 185) from Mississippi State.

He has a career 31 games played, 47 receptions, 640 receiving yards and 5 TDs. 1197 career all purpose yardage. As with most of these grad transfers, he missed time due to injury and his production never really recovered.

Could be a contributor as a punt and kick returner.

Good to hear! Needed something like that after the Wake Forest WR left.

Even with him, we'll probably need two freshmen to burn redshirts at WR, barring any injuries. That's probably ideal anyway, so that if they all stay, we aren't in a position with 5 talented WRs in the two-deep all graduating at once.

DT Eric Smith. 6'0" 280 lbs. Transfer from DII Central State University. He played in 9 games as a true freshman, totaling 19 tackles, 2.5 TFL, 1 sack and 1 FR. Went to Cass Tech HS.


Also, our old friend Ra'Sean Davie is appearing on the roster again. Looks like he transferred back to WMU.

Maybe it was an academic thing that he got cleaned up. Maybe he was a victim of the 105-man roster limit last season, and the roster outlook changed this season. Whatever it was it sounded like it wasn't his ideal choice, but glad to have him back, he seemed very popular in the locker room and he has legit speed.

Is Joey Price still on the team? I was looking for him when I was at practice and the scrimmage today. But didn't see him. Would be a big loss if he is no longer a bronco.

He's still on the roster.

Not all of the numbers are up to date, there were a few not on the online roster.

Weights and jersey #s were updated today. The thing that immediately stands out: the team got BIGGER this offseason.

Everyone seems to have put on at least 10 pounds this off season! WOW... thats pretty amazing. Guys are MUCH bigger. According to the rosters looks like Fiske put on 50 lbs? Is that even possible? Might have been a typo...
