There was no derailment at all. The topic is attendance and that is what the discussion centered around - factors that affect attendance. The attitude that has been rewarded says that "No matter how scorching hot, no matter how freezing cold, no matter how wet (including sleeting), families will still come to games and willingly suffer the elements to see a football game". I have a different opinion from that view, but the decision of what to build has been made so we must live with it.
