I could include those guys, but IIRC Miller cut his list and a Memphis wasn’t on it. Don’t see Kessler really being on Memphis’ radar. Nix might still have Memphis interest.

The thing with a lot of the guys they include they might have a Memphis offer but are never really going to be a serious Memphis target.

Brian Rauf from Bustingbrackets has Penny and staff getting NONE of remaining top 20 players and Kentucky getting close to all of them. What a dunce and a tool.

My point was: how could any credible basketball sportswriter even think Penny/Mike & Co. could strike out on what would basically be the top 25 recruits? Beyond comprehension.

Murrell just dropped his top 5. We aren't on it. We stopped recruiting him a while back, I think, after Faragi went to Vandy.

2020 guards will be hard to get. Right now, they're projecting everyone back in an already crowded backcourt. '20 players will wait and see what happens with this roster (transfers, one/done).

Frontcourt is a different story. I expect an early commitment from a big, with others still considering us.

That's OK, if I could choose between Lomax, Harris, Baugh, Quinones, Ellis and Jefferies coming back or a crop of new freshmen, I'll take everyone coming back.

This ^ But the true 1 and done guards are not going to be worried about playing time.

I wouldn't be surprised if at least a couple of these kids won't be back next year, for whatever reason.
