TXST h/h with Nevada
at Nevada in 2022
at TXST in 2023

We played each other once before in TXSTs first FBS season. Nevada had left the WAC for the MWC. They had a game with UNM as OOC but then became a conference game. Both teams played TXST in one off games to help.

That's a good series to schedule. Should have beat them in the bowl, but our anemic play calling couldn't convert in the redzone.

I like it. The year we played in the WAC, we lost to them 34-21. Respectable.
Hoping Spav has us much improved by the time we meet again.

We played some really good teams respectably for a first year FBS squad.

If we were smart we'd be trying to get a basketball series too with them as part of the deal. Nevada was ranked all last season, would be a rare exciting non-conference home game.

I agree, it would be great if they could have scheduled a home-and-home in basketball. Nevada is a good pickup for us. I would love to see the Bobcats get a home-and-home with UNLV. It would be great to see the Bobcats at the new Raiders Stadium. Plus, a home-and-home in basketball with UNLV.

I just realized that Texas State is playing at UNLV in basketball on November 20th, at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas. So I guess the basketball is getting scheduled.
