1/2-2/3rds of all European immigrants were indentured servants for the first 200 years. Term usually lasted 5-7 years. They got room and board but not wages. This practice did not end in the USA until 1917 or so. It probably goes on today in some manner with some Chinese and Indians.

That and this idea that "all" Americans understand or care about anything is about as dumb an idea as his campaign.

Yes those people also. Historically slavery has been the norm. As far back as you want to go in recorded history be that the old testament or whatever you want to use.

When will African Americans finally realize that the only ones holding them down are the liberals who want to keep them beholden to giveaways? Most I know are hardworking taxpaying citizens who long ago figured this out. They don't need to be "woke". They just need to be suspicious of anyone who thinks they can't do it on their own. Because in politics the one who wants to help you is the one keeping you down.
