Quote:“When you see how few power conference teams are willing to play us on our home courts, make no mistake about it — that is because they are afraid to lose,” UAB athletic director Mark Ingram said.

oh, come on. Afraid of us?....

We lost to freaking Brown in our last game in the CBI.

He said courts, I don’t think we try in football. They’re sticking with this format and won’t have a choice until the new stadium is up.

Was Ingram AD while we were coached by Davis? That’s the last time UAB basketball scared anyone.

Football I’m just waiting on two money games again, the rest had to so I wanna see Clark do it again

UAB won't know for sure until we try to get a P5 school to play the Blazers in the new stadium. What happens if a regional P5 team insists during contract talks on moving a Blazer home game to Legion Field because of its greater seating capacity? Does UAB turn them away?

I would think Mark Ingram would invite them for a tour of Legion Field, and that problem would be solved.

In terms of PLAYER centered amenities, the two stadiums are likely to be comparable. The expected differences are in FAN centered amenities like concessions and bathrooms. A regional P5 visiting AD would be more inclined to look first at seating capacity (possible ticket sales -- visitor allotment of 70,000 vs visitor allotment of 45,000) IF there is a choice.
