Other then Football, UAB is in no shape to move to the AAC or any where else, you have to look at the Basketball program and baseball program, you want to see what Memphis and those programs offer the Basketball players, It is no compete what so over. Lucky to be in CUSA. with what UAB offers their athletic players. Football was supported by private funds you see what UAB does for its athletic programs its knot in the conversation. Basketball gets players because their a DI Team no other reason I could name 100 Schools in lower conferences that would and compete with UAB. Like Brown.

I can tell your an expert on the subject. We are in the conversations and your not. I bet that puts a knot in your comments then again maybe not.

One thing for sure -- the AAC will have very precise knowledge of the financial resources of every candidate school they consider adding to their membership. UAB can make a very strong case for its likely growth over the next decade if the state continues to support its academic side with new funding streams. The 2020 SETF at $7.1 billion is the first to at least match the 2007 SETF ($6. 8 billion) since the Great Recession began.

EVERY state public school athletic department is supported by private money (charitable donations, TV revenue, conference shares, etc). If not, they would all be looking to hire the best coaches they could get for about $200,000 per year. As it is, that is about what AU and UA reported spending annually per athlete in their various programs.

No

Might need the extra building for all the future trophies, and to add a green lit waterfall.

Baffling. To seemingly have no grasp at all on the English language- be it spelling, grammar, syntax, punctuation, or anything else- then drop a word like "odious." That's a head-scratcher.

Well, according to Mr. Webster, odious is something that is extremely unpleasant; repulsive.

That, in of itself, kinda covers all past, present and future posts.

its either a Grammarly purchase or an alt account from an existing user and they are typing broken English to make it harder to discover them.

This is what i'd always assumed. I don't know how many others would take the time to find a forum with that poor of grammar.
