So are the only pitchers with more than 6.0 IP in 2019 who will back next year:
Bordwine,
Wood,
Greenwood?

My guess is that he got the money he wanted knowing his lack of negotiating power next year. Selections in the MLB draft are not made on talent or how someone projects. Gayle got a bigger bonus than Kravetz. The mets signed all of their picks from rounds 4 thru 10 for a total of $62K. Slot for the 4th round pick alone was just under $500K.

There’s the Mercer grad transfer too if you want to count him.

I guess I missed the news on Salinas signing (but then I just saw he was the Reds minor league pitcher of the month so he made the right decision it appears).

What decision? He graduated before being drafted.

Whoops - confusing him with Garcia. Can Garcia return? That would be a pitcher in 2020 with some innings under his belt (assuming he was healthy).

Yes, Roel will be returning for his Senior year (and he would still have another year of eligibility assuming he applies for a red shirt for last season), and everything I've heard, he's well along in his rehab, and already throwing.

RE: Addison Moss- Minor league contract
FYI, according to the Baseball America draft tracker, Moss signed for $125K. Ultimately a decision that has to consider how much you think you can get next year. With how some of the seniors were squeezed, it is probably difficult to pass that up. It's a big roll of the dice for that one more year. Again, the MLB draft and compensation is like no other.
