Those were sick. I loved the Adidas football jerseys as much as I loathed the Adidas basketball jerseys.
agree 100% here
Wish we could have Adidas football and Nike/Jordan hoops. Heck, Im even okay with the UA hoops. Just don't care for the UA football much. They aren't horrible (except the cartoon bearcat). I just think they are so blah.

The current logo is showing its age. It comes from an era when logos used italics fonts or slanted fonts to show motion and energy. Every 10 to 15 years UC has updated its athletic logos and it’s about that time again. The entire athletic branding from the C-PAW to the Cartoon Bearcat need a refresh. The entire athletic brand looks like it came from a children’s TV show.
I would go back to the original C-PAW and start from there with making a new one. Add in a modern version of the angry Bearcat and the interlocking UC and add in a lot of red.
UC’s school colors are not black and white. I remember reading when the red cartoon uniforms came out how the athletics office was concerned that there were a lot of red teams in the region so using black and white makes them standout. That is dumb, red is a school color. Too bad Louisville, Ohio State, Miami, Dayton, and Indiana all use a version of red. The Cincinnati Reds are also red. So many red teams, can’t use red everyone will be confused. It’s such a dumb mindset from athletics that it actually belittles the fans and consumers.

I'm fine with tweaking the CPaw...just not scrapping it.
I didn't like the current one when they did it, but over time it grew on me. I still like the old one though too.

This
I love the Bearcat face uniform. It was a great design for alternate uniforms.

Liked the look, but my god were they uncomfortable with how terribly they fit on the pads.
The C-paw is one of, if not THE, best logo in college sports. It should never go away.
I like the new jersies. I like the simpler, clean look. I think uniforms need to start trending back towards that. I don't like the cartoonish designs of some teams nowdays. The look like they were designed in a preschool.

I don't mind the new jerseys but I do agree we have gotten away from the red too much the past decade or so. At the minimum we need to be using red to outline the numbers on the jerseys like we did during the Dantonio era or in the late 90s. Even the original Adidas uniforms had some red trimming
I think our best were the ones in 2011. Right before the picture of Hosey Williams posted above. It had the same overall template, but they didn't have the weird unexplained design on the shoulders, and the numbers weren't silver. I actually have a game worn white version of those by RDA IV. It looks like a child's medium.
My biggest gripe with the new ones revealed yesterday is on the aways, we just used the fill tool in the sleeve area. Filling in different parts of the cut of the jersey just seems lazy and uninspired.

Agree with you about the 2011 uniforms. I did not like the 2012 or 2013 look at all.
