Damn what the players want to hear, it's all about the old whites!!
If it weren't for old whites the west side would go from a few thousand to nothing.
There is a mixture to be had. To say it's all about the players is pretty stereotypical. As much as old white dudes. Is it they all want to hear rap or hip hop? Why would you conclude that's all they want to hear? Take a pole?
The Bear's recently figured out they had an issue with music. They went from all classic to almost all more recent pop, some rap maybe 5-6 years ago. Many did not like it. You know, the old white guys as you say. But then a couple years ago they did out with a lot of the more recent music. I'd say it's probably a 1/3 new, 2/3 old during the game. Pregame, not sure as I am not there. Pre-game, knock yourself out. But I suggest maybe editing a play list. One that doesn't include vulgarity and explicit lyrics like i have heard in college and pro stadiums/arenas. And honestly, the music during the game is not for the players. Ask players in loud venues what they here, pay attention too. They know one thing: when it's loud. In fact they asked some Bears players last year about the air raid siren. Some said "siren? I just heard fans yelling." So if you want your whatever you want to call it...rap/hip hop during the game, let's be honest. That appeals to some players perhaps but predominately a younger student body on the east side. Not sure what music would get them and the old white dudes all on the same page. I do know that hopefully the product on the field does it, along with maybe something simple like "defense" Chant. But hey, as much as rap and hip hop offends all the old whites from going, maybe the lack of newer music keeps all those students in the dorms and libraries studying, especially for those November week night games.
Nice try klake, but maybe that is going in the wrong direction, imho.

Don't you want to see Dog Fan Dancing on the west side?
I love the Macarena and would be happy to put on a show for the west side fans. It's better on a warm day when I can be shirtless and wear my skin tight short shorts that highlight my body parts and natural curves.

As my one daughter use to say to me when she was younger "dad, I just threw up in my mouth and it wasn't baby barf."

I love the Red Sox. I am sick of Sweet Caroline. I think Boston started the trend.
