It's a great opportunity to take advantage of if your Wichita State, but I don't foresee them having much success in the first decade.

It will be hard to recruit good football talent in Kansas on a consistent basis.
u shouldnt talk about negtive at WSU, wat about uta they talked abt possible restart football and u didn't talk bad negative on uta, u moron!

... was that a sentence? Does anybody know what this says? I don't have Google Translate installed right now.

We like rumors, too. Let's start one that WSU and UTA will play a home and home series starting in 2024. It has been quite a while since Arlington played WSU.

Wichita State increasingly recruits Texas and the Metroplex for students, as the Shocker campus has unique programs in aerospace, entrepreneurship and Koch donated programs. That contrasts with UConn which wants to attract more New Yorkers, which have much less affinity for fb.

The need more Metroplex students as it is only five hours north, and Texan student are much more apt to follow football. The need for fb at WSU is an overwhelming need for recruiting students.

The JC programs in Kansas are among the strongest fb teams in the nation.

Seems like a topic for realignment thread. I care nothing about it.

Wichita State started a 200 piece marching band this year. Said a year ago on the realignment board that WSU intends to start fb because a large marching band was started, and was mocked for that statement.

Like 200 members will march on the basketball court. ? But the brainiacs on that board insisted on that.

LOL. The band does not guarantee a football team. UTA has continued to have a large marching band, despite dropping football after the 1985 season. They (band members) relish the opportunity to brag about being a marching band without a football team, as if that makes them special. It's like an extended sequel of Revenge of the Nerds.

99% sure that Wichita State is not adding football.

100% sure that AAC would not bring them into the league for football even if they did.
