After they finish with the rulebook, think there's a few ACC members who'd like to take a look. We see the way this game is headed and want to look for any rules about revolt, secession and switching sides midgame...

The ACC office won't let them look at it. Its in a vault in the conference office.

Correct—quitting team ACC requires forking over a lot of pizza money—like 14 years worth.

Very interested in the game Diplomacy that all the big kids (P5) are playing, but not invited to play, the little kids (G5) decide to play their own game of Diplomacy.

(Edit: Fighting Muskie, help, I don't know how to play Diplomacy!!)

I’ll have to formulate a G5 version of realignment Diplomacy. Aside from the MAC, whose experienced very little change in the past 30 years, the G5 level leagues have had a lot of drama and intrigue:

The WAC slowly picked away at the Big West until it was dead

C-USA basically emerged from the remaining southern independents, but not without its own drama

You’ve got the failed WAC-16 that begat the MWC

Then the MWC picked the WAC to death

The SBC was sort of this odd spinoff of indies and call ups, many of whom were Big West full members or affiliates

C-USA raided the SBC..a lot

Big East/AAC raided C-USA a lot

and then the SBC takes revenge on C-USA.

As for Diplomacy the game itself, it’s a lot of fun. It’s a WWI simulation and I haven’t played in years. If there’s some interest maybe we can get a correspondence game going among posters from the board.
