That area *is* going to develop. Too much land close to downtown that's selling dirt cheap. I remember when the area around Regions Field/Railroad Park was like that.

We should find a lot and buy for our tailgates and future hold for future value.
We could rent it out for various functions, parking, etc.

I remember reading a year or so back that BJCC had bought that property, which if I remember correctly is at the corner of 11th and 22nd. (Couldn't access the BBJ article, so not 100% sure.) That would place it right across the street from the stadium.
