Their offense started out of sync, like ours last night, and just never got any traction. Even with four new guys on the OL, Taylor was lethal tonight.

I'll be happy if we keep the Sconnies under triple digits!

They did, but USF also looked completely inept on offense. They hurt themselves with dropped passes and turnovers. We'll need a better start than we made Thursday night, if we want to make it a game.

Yeah, Tic, people here are not impressed either. But, we could make him look good. Our defense is shaky at best. Coan won't have to throw once Taylor gets motoring.

I guarantee that won't happen. Badger coach, Paul Chryst does not believe in RUTS. Taylor only played one series in the second half against South Florida.

SFU fans did a lot of talking about their great offense before the game. After game one it's really hard to tell. I hope South Florida turns out to be pretty good because of what that implies about the Badgers' defense.

Coan was decent at quarterback. He was 19 of 26 for 199 yards, two TDs and no picks. He was sacked three times and one of his running attempts was him barely managing to get back to the LOS on what otherwise would have been another sack. In other words, the pass protection was questionable.

For anyone going to Madison - have a great time. Be sure to visit the Memorial Union Terrace.
