RE: Summer of extensions
Yeah, both of those are good news. Interesting that Derek Simmons wasn't mentioned in the baseball article (hitting coach/recruiting coordinator).

I was just searching around after reading this and saw the following from July 6th, 2016, via Allen Moff of the Record Courier:
Five veteran Kent State University head coaches have signed contract extensions: Jim Andrassy (wrestling), Brice Biggin (gymnastics), Bill Lawson (track and field/cross country), Rob Marinaro (women’s soccer) and Kathleen Wiler (field hockey).

I would imagine 4 of the 5 will get contract extensions this summer or soon. Kathleen Wiler is no longer the coach and she has been replaced by Kyle DeSandes-Moyer (01/25/19).

Rob Senderoff has a contract that goes through 2021-2022.

John Mills is just starting his contract, that I imagine is for 4 years. KSU Women's Golf is still vacant.

Eric Oakley's contract started in the summer of 2016, so it would seem he is due a contract extension.

Sean Lewis signed his 5 year contract on 12/18/17.

Brianne Tierney (Lacrosse) signed her contract on 05/02/17.
