Speculating at football depth charts
I know this has been re-hashed a few times back in the spring, but there have been a few roster additions and adjustments, and I would like to hear opinions about potential depth chart for football when August 29 rolls around. If any "insider" has some input related to summer workouts, weight room, new guys coming in under the radar, etc., that would be appreciated.
Mainly, we need some Blazer topics to talk about during the summer months.

QB- the same. the TJ show
RB- the same spencer and the boys at this point I don’t think the number two guy matters think both years he’s got less that 60 carries. Looking forward to seeing Stanley and Haden. Good depth seeing four of the five guys actually has a UAB carry.
TE- the only two with a UAB catch plus the lone SR
OL- the same. Don’t think we have 8 SRs next season
K- Vogel
DL- only seven guys I don’t see the older ones not playing good group
ILB - mofor and moll. I think Oliver seems ready to play
OLB- the same outside of Jordan smith starting over Johnston. Johnston could pretty much line up anywhere. Should have a few redshirts
CB- I think Harris and Turner starts, the true sophomores are depth
Saf- I have a hard time not seeing Dawkins out there a lot seeing his two year numbers. But think Revels get good reps at star. Think if we took the star off the field street is possibly a top four safety with cash, boler, and Dawkins.

I know our Star position is a LB/S hybrid but what exactly is the role? Is it used based on the opposition's formation(s)?
Will Moll have enough weight to play OLB? Seems a little light to play that close the LOS.
Almost July. Good time to get the team talk going.
My biggest concern for the 2019 season: OL, imo the toughest place for newcomers to step in and contribute.

Star position is for passing teams basically. We try a good bit of 3-4 base defense but take a DL out for depth. Extra guy in space.
Probably not but will be the fastest MLB we’ve had these three years and possibly the best cover guy from there not really worried about. But the depth there is young.
Much rather complain about b-ball key to the aac lol
I think the line will be a strength by seasons end. 2 RSrs, 5 RJrs, 3 True Jrs, 2 RSos, 2 Fr with 5 walkons 1 who played in 5 games

Could be true, good bit of the spring starters. Think Johnson at WR might start. Talan starts at OLB over Rayam the former Nebraska cornhusker. Cash was a starter at SS even over Will Dawkins. Would like to see the older guys start at the three safety spots in street, turner, and Dawkins.
Think we may have a few potential guys turn pro early.

Im trying to think of who might turn pro early. Dont really see it based on what weve seen on the field so far, except maybe Spencer Brown. But his lack of breakaway speed will make him a mid to late round selection. Maybe Johnson if he lives up to potential as a huge WR. Or maybe Brontae if he further improves. But no one else, based on results to date, IMHO.

Spencer Brown - 6th active leading rusher
Brontae Harris- if he’s up to D. Williams 5 ints this year. Graduated HS in 2015 has no reason to stay a 6th season
Thomas Johnston- rating seems caught up after a good bowl game
Rajae Johnson- size
Tony Fair- size
Jordan smith- size

We have EIGHT tight ends on the summer roster. That's usually a pretty versatile position, and I wonder if any of those guys will move to another position. That's a bunch of tight ends.

Nope. Expect a lot of double TEs sets though.
Only five on scholarship, 1 blueshirt, and two walkons. Maybe a third walkon freshman from carver Birmingham.
Three SRs for 2020 with 1 current JuCo commit. Got a bunch of offers out there to Alabama,Florida, 1 good Georgia freshman TE.
