WMU dominates CMU rivalry both home & away
Some Chippies are taking pokes at Waldo's flooding situation on their message board.

We'll give it too them considering what really matters is the play on the field. WMU has a 29-16-1 all-time record against CMU at Waldo. The overall record is 49-38-2 for WMU, which includes last season's blow-out win in at Waldo North Stadium in Mount Pleasant.

CMU has not beaten WMU at Waldo North since 2010.

The Cannon Trophy is resting where it belongs, Kalamazoo (where it has been six of the last eight years and will be for quite a while longer).

Facts are facts and a little water on the field of one of the finest football facilities in the conference does not change them.

All I see are a bunch of posts on commits because they haven’t figured out how to use the recruiting thread. Congrats to them on getting a new TV in their stadium. Not much to say about the latest flood. It’s already gone and it was mentioned that the pumps at Waldo were shut off so as not to damage surrounding buildings. Which seems like a prudent measure since it’s much easier to dry out an outdoor stadium.

P.s. their highest rated recruit (.8165) is below the average rating (.8199) of our class.

They can make all the jokes they want. We'll be laughing when we beat them again this year. Simple as that.

...and we'll have about 20k more in Waldo than they had in Smelly Shorts last fall.
