Based on TV ratings NBA exposure is much greater; which should translate to this poll. Probably 15-20 times the population base of home cities. Not knowing the players well and seeing the stars only a year has really hurt college basketball. One thing hurting NBA right now is only one somewhat charismatic star. No Magic, Bird (in his unique wat), MJ or even a national hated team such as Cowboys or Yankees which also helps ratings. However, CBB has become revolving door with one and dones and almost unlimited transfers which favors the NBA.

Personally, I would almost always watch the college game. Which means liking it better.

College basketball is national.

True but the NBA playoffs can be pretty exciting.

Doesn't mean the nba doesn't suck. Just stupid people watch it.

Some people prefer to watch minor league baseball too I suppose.

Minor league baseball follows the rules of baseball pretty close. Nba has their own set of rules that they follow depending on the player(s) involved and the location of the game.

Remember the ref that got caught betting on games? He said the league calls the refs prior to each game and tells them how to call it. He just bet that way. Wrote a book about it too.

I love the Grizzlies, but I don't disagree with most of that

it is borderline orchestrated theater

In the NBA teams and players literally take games off and don't give a s*** about certain regular season games. They turn up in the playoffs but whatever.

CBS and partners said they weren’t buying the regular season in the recent mega contract that far exceeds the other networks contracts combined but the NCAA tournament.

The golden days of Wilt, Kareem, Oscar Robertson, then Dr J, Jordan, Magic and Bird are forever gone.

If you look at it realistically, as you move up through the levels of competition, the percentage of players that can excel at each level gets smaller and smaller. The level of talent in the NBA is far superior to NCAA. The rules of the game change to take advantage of this.

The NBA game is fun to watch if you take the game as it is. I do prefer NCAA to NBA though.
