RE: USM has a 122-62-2 all-time record against the current AAC field
And, for what it’s worth, USM is now a Carnegie R1 Research Institution... not that academics/research matter in conference realignment. Cause they don’t. I’m just proud, I guess.

USM has great geography. It takes Tulane off an island and those two plus Memphis gird a nice up the Mississippi Valley threesome.

We have such good history with those two teams too. Miss those games. Glad we’ve got an OOC series with Tulane coming up soon.

You know if Houston wasn't there, it wouldn't be worth it. If they eventually leave, and stick us with Tulane, SMU, and Tulsa, we'll be wanting to kill ourselves all over again.
Houston, Memphis, ULaLa, La Tech, UAB, and USM, would be a better division.
This would be an be an awesome division but will never happen unfortunately.
