Slow time of year, but still worth some attention. Post on the official website about new assistant ...

https://niuhuskies.com/news/2019/6/13/al...staff.aspx

Also note, in 2019-20 assistant Adam Tandez will be associate head coach.

Prediction for 2019-20...women make the NIT at the least.

Let’s hope so, but the women face some awfully stiff competition from conference teams. The MAC is loaded with some very good teams. If the women can get far in the conference and deep into the MACC, that’s really an accomplishment that would certainly be worthy of an NIT invite.

From what I hear the Ball State loss late in the year cost them a NIT last year and if they can stay healthy I think they will get it done this year. Ohio should be the preseason pick. Good group of girls on and off the court.

It's football first this time of year, but NIU WBB posted this music vid bit on Twitter and thought it worth a post.

Wonder if #LeaveNoDoubt is their new slogan. Last season was #WhateverItTakes.

Simply the number of D1 programs that sponsor women's hoops (350) tells you that getting to either tournament is an enormous challenge. Less than 30% of the total programs are selected for either major tournament
