MyBB Historically Good NBA Draft
Last night the NBA held its draft, and the ACC used that opportunity to rewrite the record books...

Duke: 3
UNC: 3
UVA: 3
FSU: 2
VT: 1
Mia: 1

Surprised no one has posted about this yet... must be a FOOTBALL conference.

Of the 52 college players drafted, 25 played in either the ACC or SEC. ESPN must be on cloud nine today.

The two basketball conferences widely viewed as the #6 and #7 strongest behind the P5 conferences produced only one second round pick between them (the 41st pick overall).

Was it the Gonzaga kid?

No. Actually I was referring to the Big East and American conferences. The player was Eric Paschall from Villanova.

Gonzaga had two first round picks (#9 and #21). But the WCC as a whole had no one else.

Whether it's football, basketball or baseball, the five autonomous conferences have totally separated themselves from everyone else. The biggest reason they haven't gone their separate way from the rest of the NCAA is because they want to have weaker conferences to beat up on to pad their W-L records.
