probably not a coincidence that 2022 is likely the first draft where top high schoolers can go straight to the NBA

We got not 1 but 2 first round picks for Conley and Grayson Allen.

So much for the Grizz not getting a nice return on Mike and Marc.

Thank goodness Chris Wallace is gone.

I like Conley, but I am glad to get rid of the contract.

Allen had a disappointing year but he was still a 1st rounder...so we basically got 3 first rounders and a couple of possible trade assets. That's not bad.

Edmiston said on the radio this morning that we get a $25M trade exception from the Conley trade. He has an article in the Athletic which I don't subscribe to.

Somewhere I saw that after this upcoming season that the grizzlies will only have 5 or 6 players under contract and upwards of seventy million of cap space. Getting out from under the dreadful and indecisive Chris Wallace era is a massive plus and a complete fresh start with Ja and Jaren as the pillars seems to be the goal of this new front office
