Think speculation. I use to have the link to the Student Directory lookup, but don't have it anymore. If there is a student or someone with an ODU email account, they can look for his name. If they have an email account they're register or have been.

High scoring transfer point guard from Hampton U. He's declared he's transferring. Some have speculated he's enrolled at ODU and may join the team. Nobody has confirmed.

This is pretty defeatist. VCU has no inherent advantages over us. We were on the same level very recently. They made good decisions to become what they are now, we did not, but we absolutely can and should achieve the same level of success that their program has.
To sit back and say, well they have all these advantages, so how can we expect to be as good as them, ignores the fact that they made the investments in their program to separate themselves from us. Decisions are they only differences between our programs.

In my opinion, the only difference is ODU is not in the A10. If we had access to multiple bids and games on actual TV, recruiting and interest would improve. If we played regional teams like VCU, Richmond, GMU and GW fan and student engagement would be much greater. I have no doubt ODU would quickly, if not immediately be a top 5 team regularly in the A10 with at least double the frequency of NCAA appearances.
The only failure on ODUs part, is not getting us in the A10. The failure of Judy to secure an actual media package to include at least regional television has really hurt too. Otherwise, the only difference between us and them is the patch sewn on the jersey and the benefits that come with it.

Banks is roughly the same level recruit as Joe Reece. While its a decent nid major recruit, its not someone i would have VCU envy over.
